Our Expertise
Our core expertise is in diagnosing difficulties in the late stages of the PhD or Master’s journey and working with you to find solutions tailored to your circumstances. We are up-to-date on the latest research and thinking about supports and interventions for graduate students from the individual to the institutional level.
Both of us managed to get our PhDs under less than ideal circumstances. We survived by thinking hard about what sort of support we needed, and by working hard to get it. Many of the lessons we learned are general lessons that will work for many people.
We are both also deeply committed to helping ease the way for those who come after us. Some suffering in grad. school is inevitable, but it shouldn’t be a requirement!

Our Rate
Our rate for academic coaching is $75/hr (CAD), charged in 15-minute increments. For Canadian residents, our rate is $75 + tax.
